?? I made this almost a year ago for my book, It’s a homage to my childhood and a challenge I set for myself in the early stages of the book process. I hope you like it!
I’ve been offline and less active for a while in an attempt to improve my health and mood, which is more stable when defining my success myself, by putting happiness first and not pressuring myself to create to impress others, which will inevitably be part of my life because of my job regardless, but it shouldn’t take over the rest of my life.
The book was a tough one for me because of all this. Marketing and deciding what I’d put in it for you guys, who I made the book for, is pretty much the opposite of what I need to do. My mental health took a hit over making it for sure. I’m happy it’s out there now ;v; (if you want to know more about my process (including this specific piece, of course!) and see more exclusive art, the english edition is coming early 2019, the dutch edition is in stores and online already. )
