Words from @danny_______g about his customized Road Glide: . In the last few years I’ve gotten to know @BrandoncQuaid from @QuaidHarleyDavidson really well. We’ve always bounced ideas off each other weather it be FXR builds or Road Glide build ideas. About a year and a half ago he made me an offer I couldn’t refuse to get all these ideas out of my head on a brand new 2018 Road Glide Special. . First thing I did was get on the phone with all the brands that I enjoy working with and started spitting ideas. My idea for this bike was to build my custom version of the legendary 2012 Harley Davidson CVO “Skunk”. This bike was the first bagger that really caught my eye. Right off the showroom floor with just a few minor mods these bikes were awesome. My goal was to add my flavor to that 2012 CVO and go way more horsepower courtesy of @feulingparts, upgrade brakes, much better suspension front and rear @legendsuspensions, 10x louder stereo @rockfordfosgate, my signature @fxrdivision “G Series” bars, and the same paint lines as the 2012 CVO with my custom details throughout the entire bike. Andy at @flyin_iron_designs took these ideas and laid down this paint way better than I’d even hoped for. . Part of the reason this bike took almost a year longer to finish than originally planned was how much I change my mind during every step. This bike is so much fun to ride I can’t even begin to explain and the thank you list is so long I’m going to have to save it for another post. First and foremost though, if it wasn’t for @brandoncquaid @toplinetubes & @dirty_dyna_guy this bike would not exist. . I’m still trying to process that it’s mine. . Going to take awhile to sink in. . . . ? ? credit @ryanlange
