DRESSEMBER DAY 5! Did you know that 25% of human trafficking victims are children? (according to the International Labour Organization) Childhood labor is defined as "the enslavement (ie. sale, trafficking, debt bondage, serfdom, compulsory labor) of anyone under the age of 18." I find this horrifying and disgusting, but, a sex trafficker can potential earn up to $150,000-200,00 per child in one year. Child labor also takes place in domestic servitude and the global supply chain, especially in the textile industry.
