Raised by her parents in a small hippie community outside Toronto, Shalom was spotted by a talent scout at a The Cure concert. ‘I’d never seen a fashion magazine and there was no TV at home, so I didn’t have any points of reference,’ she says. ‘And suddenly, at 17 years old, I found myself in Paris doing runways for designers whose names I could barely pronounce.’ Read the text about her exclusive comeback by @raffaelepanizza in our December Issue.
