Today on the blog I have published a post talking about living with #endometriosis, the debilitating chronic pain that it causes, and the diet I’ve switched to that has given me some relief. Endometriosis is a very serious disease affecting more than 11% of women, and to say it can make life difficult would be to put it mildly. This post was hard for me to write as it is quite a painful subject for me, but I know how isolated and ashamed I felt during my first few years of dealing with it. I know my story will sound very familiar to someone who has gone through the same struggle. We’ve got to shine a light on this ugly disease and shed the stigma of reproductive illness in hopes of better options for treatment and so future generations of girls know suffering this way is not normal or okay.
