Shelter from the "storm". Real weather doesn't happen very often in LA, when it does people lose their minds, driving off the road, taking I'll advised walks on the pier, jumping in puddles all spurred on by the local "breaking news:Storm Watch 2018!" .
But it also gives us the opportunity to pull out all our favorite winter clothes we never get to wear here. Then just like that it's back to 72/partly cloudy with a slight onshore breeze...yet you still feel like you need to wear that beanie and Patagonia jacket the rest of the week even though you're sweating, just for nostalgia sake. .
