@norman_parkinson was one of the most celebrated fashion photographer but what I remember most about him was his wicked sense of humor & his flair for the outrageous. He wanted every shot to be like a piece of art as displayed above in Paris for French Vogue in 1982 in a couture gown & jewels.
As a model for years I enjoyed the privileged of working with many photographers and image makers standing in front of hot lights for hours on end all in an effort to capture that fleeting perfect image which at times is taxing. Mr. Parkinson’s humor always made the search for that image an enjoyable and memorable one.
