On 10th June 2014, John Moore and Theresa Cosgrove rescued a motorcyclist and a driver after a collision in Elstree. John and Theresa stopped their car after seeing the two vehicles had caught on fire, and risked their own lives to drag the motorcyclist and driver to safety.

Today The Duke of Cambridge presented John and Theresa with The Queen’s Gallantry Medal and The Queen’s Commendation for Bravery respectively at an #Investiture at Buckingham Palace.
