The Taronga 2018 CEO Challenge has begun! Ten brave participants have joined our CEO Cameron Kerr in India for a challenging journey designed to reveal the complexities of wildlife conservation and some of the country’s vital recovery projects. The Challenge team have spent the past few hours at Wildlife SOS’s Bear Sanctuary, helping to build platforms for the bears to climb and sleep on. Established in 1999, this sanctuary in central India has been able to rescue and rehabilitate more than 620 ‘dancing bears’. They are now living peacefully in four large natural sanctuaries across India, enjoying a life where they’ll never again have to endure such cruelty and pain.
