I just received the saddest news that my French brother Sammy Hadida, the great film Producer and Film Distributor, has passed away! Sammy and his company Metropolitan Films distributed most of my films in France including the Rush Hour films. He has been a great friend and supporter of mine from day one and was even partly responsible for me getting to direct #TheFamilyMan! Sammy loved movies and making movies as much as anyone I have ever known. He was the biggest Mensch I ever came across in this business and I will never forget his generosity and kindness towards me. His charm, charisma, sense of humor and passion for life made him the amazing person he was. He will be missed. My heart goes out to his loved ones. What a huge loss of a kindred spirit and inspiration. I love you Sammy! #RIP
