Fashion and art in dialog. After a successful launch, the limited edition Speaking Garments line enters its next round. For this second edition, the label’s founder Lina Miccio collaborates with German artist Jan-Ole Schiemann. His work oscillates between abstract and figurative elements, comic drawings and constructed surfaces, gray values and paint mist surfaces. Schiemann primarily uses black ink, applied to unprimed canvas, superimposing transparent layers
to create an unusual sense of depth.

The starting point for the four-piece conceptual unisex line was Schiemann’s work Distractingly Sexy, which alludes to a statement by a Nobel laureate. His assertion
that women in the lab would only distract men led to female scientists around the world posting self-portraits in shapeless lab coats and giant goggles under the
hashtag #distractinglysexy.

Speaking Garments is produced in a limited edition run of 100, with each product made by hand in Germany ♚
