This pic is an example of the ability we have as humans to love to forgive and to show compassion. 34 years ago, Billy Moore shot and killed Ben Wilson one of the greatest basketball players ever and one of our greatest heroes from Chicago. Billy served his time and has redeemed himself and is doing the work to help others not fall in that cycle of violence and destruction of our own. In this picture he stands in between Ben Wilson’s brothers who have shown truly what we can be as human beings. Forgiving, merciful and allowing others to redeem, will heal our communities. Ben Wilson is still one of my heroes and now his two brothers have earned that title. Thank you to all three of you. You are setting an example of how to heal our city and make the world better. #Love
