When you walk the quarter, the music from one joint fades but another kicks right in when you turn a corner. It was a natural a few years back to photograph Little Freddie King, the self titled “King of the Blues” in New Orleans, on the banks of the Mississippi. Shot with Nikon D4 and a 24-70mm lens, 1/2.5 sec. at f4. The combo of flash duration, and bracing my elbows on the ground for an impromptu tripod effect made up for the fact that we were super late getting to this location, and the sun was down and out of the sky. #NikonLove #NikonNoFilter #NewOrleans #nola"
