What does it really mean to be, self made? I never identified with this term. I look at my journey, and I know I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for my family and friends.
I was once told, how wisdom is the art of living skillfully. That l resonated with me, and stuck ever since. Throughout my career, I made a lot of mistakes, but thankfully, I made smart decisions, and invested in the right things because I had the right advice and help from people who genuinely cared. I’m so grateful for them! ?❤️
Along my journey, I’ve met people like @sophiaamoruso If you’re not familiar with her, she built a multi million dollar fashion business. Remember NastyGal? ? Back in 2007 I shopped on her eBay account where she first started. Fast forward to now, taking everything she learned and experienced, she is creating a platform that I wish I had when I first started out. It’s coming out next year, but you can follow here @girlboss
Success can come from humble beginnings. You don’t have to follow a traditional template to find success, because we all define it differently.
