District 13 in Medllin has been bought to colorful life with massive wall murals by local graffiti artists. I took a crack with only four spray cans available I thought I'd fail miserably but ended up very happy with my first graffiti work titled "Luces Fuera Medellin" or Lights Out Medellin, three looming city towers amid the backdrop of Medellins green mountains.The towers bleed black (oil/greed) into the earth & the centre tower has been reduced to one light. The green of the mountain GLOWS above all. I tagged it with my new Colombian street name #ricorico Thank you #district13 #medellin for the inspiration also #dasblauelicht for the idea of light & the green illumination of the mountain.
