5 years ago @tylerjeremy__ tagged me in a clip of him doing a kickflip backside tailslide bigflip out. I took notice for two reasons 1) he was from my hometown of St. Louis and no matter who you are if you’re from St Louis I pay attention and 2) he was only 15 and no 15 year old skater from St Louis has ever done tricks that tech. Well, a few months later he made his first trip out to Los Angeles and a couple years after that he was living in Los Angeles going from the shittiest fast food and Mtn dew to cooking his own food, being vegan and knowing how to take care of himself as an adult. You can literally see him getting better right in front of your eyes every time he’s on his board and some of the tricks he’s doing are so tech they blow my mind. But here he is now just doing a simple kickflip but hot damn did he make it look so sweet. - sb #berrics ?: @nikandermatveev
