This is Alejandra Llaneza and she represented Mexico in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games!! ⛳️?️‍♀️???

I asked her to tell me all about it and here is her story: “I got on the olympics through world ranking, the top 2 players from each country qualified. The Olympics were a lot of fun because being in the Olympic Village, we got to talk to a lot of the athletes and hear the amazing stories about how the got there and what they had to sacrifice in order to do that. Being around so many different cultures was amazing and although we didn’t speak the same language we all spoke “sports” and it was such a magical connection. Also we got to feel like athletes which as golfers we don’t get that recognition too often. ☺️ Fun story, we snuck into the stadium to watch Usain Bolt win a gold medal. We couldn’t get tickets anywhere so we rode the athletes’ bus and snuck in! The sound when he crossed the line was indescribable. The closing ceremony was also great when we walked through the tunnel into the stadium. It didn’t hit me that I was playing in them until they announced my name and my country on the first tee. I still don’t know how I hit that ball, haha I was so nervous in the best kind of way though and my whole family was there which was so special. I love playing golf because you never get to a point of “perfect” there’s always a challenge to be better than you were before. ?”
