1️⃣ Use blade angles to your advantage. By tilting the blade and using corner only it is easier to create fine lines and curved lines.
2️⃣ There are a few different techniques to create a line or shape: etching by tapping piece by piece, a swiping motion, and the rocking motion. All of which are shown here.
3️⃣ Don’t focus on the line being sharp in the beginning just focus on creating guideline. Once established then you will focus on defining the lines in the end.
4️⃣ Using top side of the stationary blade on the trimmer, press against the guideline gently to define. The stationary blade will act as a ruler of sorts to give you a sharp line. You will alter between using the corner of the blade, half, and full blade as needed during the defining portion. Define design as needed ?
5️⃣ Razor can be used for super sharp finish if able to do so. And you are finished!
