Betty Edith Holbrook has worked tirelessly for the community of Harwick. She received an MBE for services to the community.
She has been an active member and officer of the Harwich and District Fellowship for the Sick including leading the team at the annual hospital fete as well as being its foremost fundraiser.
And congratulations to Carol Chorley who received an MBE for voluntary service to the community from The Prince of Wales today during an #Investiture ceremony at Buckingham Palace.
For the last 30 years, Mrs Chorley has been Secretary and Vice-Chair of the Royal British Legion.
Carol has worked for @PoppyLegion in Sarratt, Hetfordshire, for the last 30 years.
Carol organises help for older and ex-members and running social events. ? @pa
