Thanks to the veterinary professional who sent me a heads up about this horrible declawing coupon from A Cat Hospital in Nevada. ?Many veterinary professionals are sick and tired of declawing vets making their profession look bad by performing and promoting this mutilating procedure.
THIS is why I do what I do and why I would hope everyone would want to join us and protect cats from this mutilating procedure.
You will be absolutely shocked at the declawing info this vet has on her website. ???
I reached out to Dr Auge in an email to ask her some questions but she never returned my email.
These are just a few of the appalling things she has on her website's declawing info, "If declawing was not a safe procedure, veterinarians - who are in the business to protect animals and keep them healthy - would not choose to have that procedure as a part of their practice. If you choose to declaw your cat, you can feel confident that it is safe." "Having a cat declawed is not going to change the behavior of the cat." "The cat does not need its claws for walking, running, playing, jumping, or climbing. Cats use their claws only for scratching." Info from ACatHospital.com

Those are all lies. Blatant lies. ????? Here are the FACTS!?? FACT- Declawing is an amputation procedure that always harms the health and well-being of a cat.
FACT- Declawing does cause behavioral changes and issues in many cats.
FACT- Cats walk on the joint between the P2 and P3 and they need the P3 bone which is what the claw grows from for balance and weight distribution.
