I lost the incomparable June Ash 7 years ago today. There’s so many things I wish she had gotten to see. There’s still at least once every few months that I go to call her and realize she’s not here to answer. Time doesn’t heal all wounds. Or at least not this one for me. But I’m grateful for all the time we had together. I just wish we could have had more.
