I could never properly put into words the amount of gratitude I have for what I do. Its become important in my life to have moments of reflection — something I didn’t do enough of (or at all) in the past. I owe it to myself to look back on the road to where I’m at now. Never to ponder what if’s or regrets, but merely to be humbled by all of it.

I had a moment the other day in San Antonio. I was up early, hopped on a @bird, and just ripped around the area for a bit to get coffee & soak in the quietness. I was on my way back to the venue when I saw our name on the marquee w/ @Good Charlotte (Swipe to see the photo) & I just had a proud moment to myself. No, this wasn’t the first marquee we’ve shared with them (which is an honor to say), but for whatever reason, this specific time just stood out to me. It hit me right in the gut, in the best way possible. Haha.

Here’s why: it was a moment that made me reflect & think back to my beginnings. I first saw @Good Charlotte in 2001, opening up for @mxpxpx & @slickshoesband and I thought GC was amazing. At that point in my life, I was just starting to play in bands, and NEVER thought in a million years that I’d ever play or tour with GC, or any of those bands. Ever. I wouldn’t have even fathomed it.

Flash forward to now. They’ve become family to Sirens & myself, specifically. That little dream.. That little part of me that said, fuck it, I don’t know what’ll happen unless I just TRY. THAT has lead me to here, and like I said, I’m forever grateful & humbled by it every single day.

It continues to be exciting for me. It’s forever evolving. 2019 is going to be special, and I can’t wait for you to hear/know/see what’s happened to us over the last 12-18 months that has lead us to where we’re going..

TL;DR: Follow your dreams, no matter how big or small they are. Show gratitude. GC rules. Bring on 2019.
