Yesterday marked the opening of the @jameelartscentre on the Dubai Creek against the Jaddah waterfront. The independent non-profit institution was designed by #seriearchitects who were inspired by the structural forms of Sha'abi government housing for its configuration. The 10,000 square metre space houses 10 galleries, 33 species of desert plant, 3000 books and materials and more. The opening is also celebrated with artist rooms and an inaugrual exhibition about the history of oil.
