Did something happen in Malibu while I’ve been away? - But seriously.... I’m currently traveling and when i got news of the approaching fire, all I could think about was how I was not there to fight along side my friends and family to protect our cherished community. I honestly thought there was a very good chance that my mother, my father, my brother and myself would each lose our respective homes. I’m so grateful to report, this time, luck was on our side and our homes are still standing and mostly out of danger. While Malibu is stunningly beautiful, what really gives this rugged coastline it’s majestic charm are the amazing people who call these shores home. My sympathies to those who have lost their homes. I am very much looking forward to returning from my adventure to the always beautiful city of Malibu and help friends and family rebuild. Thank you to everyone for your well wishes and support during this time, your kindness and friendship is very much appreciated. To all of my comrades who I’ve fought along side in the past and, once again, risked their health and safety in order to protect our neighbors, thank you. It is times like these where our fences become invisible and we all come together as family. ✌️❤️? #malibu
