I’ve never told a story that could be considered political before. So going into #BTSD, lot of thought has gone into this project and most importantly prayers. Searching for guidance to tell a story that was vulnerable yet real. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

Vulnerable being the key word because if you’re not careful that word is a cousin of fear. But fear, as scary as it may be, is good... that’s how you know you’re on to something that’s special. I’ve never felt so vulnerable in my life when it comes to creativity. But I knew deep down inside I had to keep pushing this project through because it was a story begging to be told. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

Not only will #btsd a release for me but hopefully it will be a release for others that watch it and have found themselves experiencing the same thoughts and feelings.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
