Flynn is best known for her hugely successful third novel, "Gone Girl," in which a wealthy, beautiful woman frames her husband for her own murder in order to avenge his infidelity and neglect. She was the executive producer for the @HBO limited series based on her book "Sharp Objects,” starring Amy Adams. @kathryn_harrison photographed the writer in Chicago for this weekend's @nytmag.
