This has been a troubling couple of days. My girls and I evacuated and we are safe. Displaced, but safe! Our house survived the night ?? Not sure about Luna’s preschool yet but I saw a structure on tv that was on fire that’s just down the street ? We are still under mandatory evacuation as the fire remains 0% contained and the winds will pick back up tonight and tomorrow. The FD said the fire could come back up the canyon in our direction ? We are hopeful for the best scenario but also know that there have been so many losses already, including homes belonging to people we know ? My heart goes out to all of those affected and to the fire fighters and first responders. These folks are risking their lives to save people and their homes. It’s so incredible and inspiring ❤️ .

Now that I’ve said that, I will also say that Trump needs to shut the fuck up ? This isn’t a damn “forest fire” cause by mismanagement. People are losing their homes and their lives and this sociopath can’t find a compassionate thing to say about any of it. Not only that, he threatens to cut funding to Cali where we are already in a state of emergency. And that’s his ONLY response? Is this shit for real? My head feels like it’s going to explode. Bastard. He better not come here to fake some kind of empathy later by visiting the affected areas. Ok back to packing. Moving to temporary place to stay #2. #woolseyfire
