I feel so happy to be a part of something that gives back to Mother Earth, the 'innisfree Indonesia 2018 Green Forest Campaign' which collaborated with WWF Indonesia's NEWTrees program. ???

The idea is to plant 6,000 trees at Daerah Tangkapan Air - Aliran Sungai Ciliwung, Cisarua, Bogor, because this area has a high rainfall rate which could cause floods in Jakarta. So, hopefully by planting more trees, we could increase water absorption and reduce flooding. ?

Aside from flooding concerns, planting more trees has other advantages too, such as:
• It could improve the local economy who can benefit from the fruits of the trees. ?
• It could help wildlife by providing shelter and food. ?

Our beautiful planet has given us so much by producing food and water for our survival, and sometimes we forget that she's getting old. We have to stop taking her for granted. Perhaps we should start thinking of her as our Baby Earth—one we should take care and guard against any form of abuse. ??
