Do you think we can have friendship “coup de foudre”? I think so.

I met @ellenmariebennett about two weeks ago at a dinner. We were both wearing @vans once we figured that out that basically was it. We jumped on each other and started talking and laughing like we had known eachother forever.
.
She also told me she was getting married a few days later, and showed me her dress, and I said be careful I might crash that wedding! To which she said : you should!!!
.
We laughed about it and that was it.
.
Then a few days later I went to visit her in her amazing factory (yes she has a factory) with @em_note and we were still joking about the wedding when, just like that, she popped an invite and was like “Come!!!”
.
I looked at Emily and she said “GO! You should go!”
.
I knew @clarevivier was going to be at the wedding and I was about to go have coffee with her.
.
So I told Ellen “You’re crazy. I am seeing Clare right after this. I am gonna tell her about all this. She’s a reasonable woman. She’ll tell me you’re crazy. If she doesn’t, I promise I’ll come.”
.
The second I talked to Clare she was like “Oh, come, you can stay with us!!!” I didn’t even know who “us” was, but I was like okay now. This is it I am going.

This is the story of how I ended up in Mexico at the wedding of a new best friend I had just met two weeks ago, with one lady I thought was reasonable but is actually way more fun than me and another woman I didn’t know but said “Yay I’ll share my bed with a total stranger” (Clare and Jen ended up sharing the bed and I spread myself leisurely on the other one) - and who I completely fell in love with, @jengotch .
.
And all that just says how special and crazy and fabulous @ellenmariebennett is and how happy I am for her and @caseycaplowe and all the fabulous people around them.
