While canvassing yesterday and reading young people explain why they’re not voting, I was struck by how understandably common it is to feel apart from the political system, unrepresented, and like none of it could affect you or someone you care about. Also, voting should be much easier and the system far more trustworthy. But the reasons to be skeptical are the same reasons *to take one step in repairing our democracy and vote!* Some states allow you to register same day, so go to vote.org to see if it’s not too late. I used ballotready.org to find my polling place, make sure I am registered and have the right documents, and learn about the candidates and proposals on my ballot. Happy voting!!!!! ? ✔️✔️✔️
