Transparency Alert ?
I’ve gotten messages from people asking when I was going to do more YouTube videos and share messages about life and God. It’s simply because I haven’t heard from him in quite some time. This is something I’ve struggled with for awhile. I went from being in his word everyday and getting so much revelation - to not a word. I didn’t understand! I pray everyday and I worship him, but I wasn’t in the word as I used to be. Last week God brought me to my knees. I’ve needed him now more than ever in my life! I joined my bible study again and he spoke these words from 1 Samuel 3. “God stops speaking when your not listening.” We have to be ready and willing to hear from the Lord, which means we have to be in His word every day, even when times are good and bad. I’m reminded that being in the word isn’t just for me, but it’s for you too. When I’m not fed, I can’t feed you and the friends and family around me.
So I say this to encourage you if you are in the same boat as I was. Set aside time in your day to seek Him and open your bible.
LISTENING means to:
1. Remove distractions.
2. Don’t talk. Let him get a word in.
3. Look at the speaker. Focus on Him.
4. Follow directions. We actually have to do what he says. ❤️??
