Arts & Culture editor @belleannee here with two great #London art stories for you. The first is that of @theunitlondon, a contemporary art gallery in the heart of #Mayfair run by Joe Kennedy and Jonathan Burt. Joe and Johnathan met in secondary school in West London and are now twentysomethings pushing and kicking the artworld into the 21st century. From how they find artists as well as buyers (social media) to the super warm welcome that greets you when you visit their gallery, the partners pride themselves on doing things a new way. They are just packing up 21st Century Women, a show curated by and featuring top female movers in the art world including @anne_morris_studio (this is the second London story I have for you). Anne is a British artist whose multimedia creations are are much loved by brands, collectors and critics. She is an illustrator, a sculpture, a painter…. a you name it. And these tall sculptures are my new favourites. Don’t you want to stare and them and touch them and play with them? Is there any better art than one that makes you desperate to feel it?
