NATO is showing off its firepower in the alliance's largest war games since end of the Cold War. The exercise taking place across Norway and parts of Sweden and Finland involves 50,000 troops, 10,000 vehicles, 250 aircraft and 65 ships. NATO’s Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg told reporters the drills are meant to help control tensions with Russia, not worsen them. “This is about preventing a conflict,” Stoltenberg told reporters. “We don’t want a new cold war.” #nato #wargames #military #norway
