A time when kids could just go outside, play & we were safe (mostly, we still had to watch our backs) We trolled the heck out of our neighborhood! When it got dark, we had to come home. There were no smart phones or I pads. Children’s programming was only 3 hours a day! There were NO kid channels, no cartoon channels and ALL tv went off the air at 12am. Just an american flag and static!
My little bro & myself got bored & in that boredom were the embers of creativity. We had to create & find fun ourselves! We learned to explore, collect things, dance, sing, draw, fight, & work things out... ahhhhhh #BoredomIsAGreatTeacher
