“Firefall” in Yosemite, appropriately named because it looks as if lava is pouring down the cliff face. It is really just the sunlight, which at a specific time of year hits Horsetail Falls at sunset, illuminating it up with bright orange light. This day, it had been quite rainy and I was pessimistic about getting to a sunset. However, the sky cleared up just in time for the magic to happen.
