This Wyoming toad was just released into the Mortenson Lake National Wildlife Refuge in Wyoming. It’s an extremely rare toad that has been extinct in the wild since 1991 and only lives in this one Refuge. These toads have poor eyesight, so movement is everything. When their prey moves past their eyes, they quickly act to snatch it up before it’s gone from their line of vision. ?: Mindy Meade/USFWS
