Meet Chicken the cat. She had her toe bones and claws sliced off with a scalpel in early June by a declawing vet at @stringtownanimal in Ohio.?????? This video was taken yesterday. You can see that Chicken wants to play but her paws hurt too much. (The other two cats are relative's cats and are not declawed)
Chicken has been limping, walking on her wrists, standing up with her paws up, and laying in her food while she eats for the last 4 months. ?
The declawing vet said this about Chicken's condition, "Current illness does not appear in timing or exam to be related to declaw. Discussed we have seen other kitties recently with high fever and pain. We suspect there is a viral infection in the area." ?????
Why are so many declawing vets mutilating cats and refusing to own up to the FACT that this horrific suffering is caused by their actions??

Please remember to not threaten or be mean to anyone in this story. When you are threatening, it hurts the cause, it’s wrong, and it often hurts me. Please take the high road and educate.
