Producer of the year Jason Blum (you know, the guy behind #GetOut, Sharp Objects and more) recalls his 15 minute meeting with the film's original director, John Carpenter - who was "very skeptical." "At the end of the meeting I said: 'John, I'm not going to do this movie without you. But this movie is definitely going to get made, whether either of us does it.
