Hey everyone !! Its @adenace taking over for the next few days. To introduce myself I am a 19 year old photographer and film maker living in British Columbia Canada. I thought today I would address something that I get a lot of questions about and that is camera equipment. I have received constant DM’s over the past year about what gear I shoot with and what gear is required to get good content. My current setup is a Sony a7ii w/ sigma 20mm art which is a decent setup, but I haven’t always had what is considered “ good gear” This photo was taken on my old camera a Canon 60D w/ kit lens, that just goes to show you that gear is not the most important thing. The fact of the matter is at the end of the day it’s all about perspective and having a passion to create. I think this is an important topic to address as i find a lot of people are too concerned about the gear they use VS what matters which is learning from other creatives that you can collaborate with, finding new perspectives and trying to be unique. Good gear is nice and opens new doors, but good gear is NOT required to make good content. Thanks for listening this is something I have been wanting to address for a long time.
