A keen and active sports person, Perry is relishing the challenge ahead. "I was looking for a challenge that wasn’t straightforward or easy, and I had always been interested in the Great South Run," Perry added.
"My girlfriend is a keen runner and is knowledgeable, so she has been helping me train and pace myself. I have been running three times a week to help prepare. "The concept behind the Asmir Begovic Foundation - helping children become active through sport - really appeals to me, and it is great that I can support this charity for someone who I have a long connection with, and the many young people he helps provides opportunities for."
