The most unbelievable meal in the village of Kritsa! I was slightly concerned that I wouldn’t be able to find many vegan options in Crete but I was pleasantly surprised. Thanks to the accommodating staff at @daios_cove and also the naturally plant-based traditional dishes from the local tavernas, I definitely didn’t go hungry! Here we shared a giant portion of fava (yellow split pea dip), dolmades (stuffed vine leaves with rice and vegetables), dakos (Cretan bread with tomatoes - we just asked for the feta on the side instead of on top), and the most incredible dish of the day which was a bean stew with onions and potatoes. Unbelievably good! The restaurant was called Agadiko at the end of the village if you ever find yourself exploring Kritsa.
