Being a gymnast and being a coach. Both definitely not easy, but smiling helps! ??? You’ll have successes in your gymnastics life that you work SO long and hard for and they feel absolutely amazing, but they only take up a tiny percentage of your time in gymnastics. The majority of your time is spent on the daily journey, going to the gym, working to improve, repetition over and over in order to reach your goals. If you can somehow learn to enjoy that journey, then you’ll be able to reach much higher and feel better at the same time! Your happiness can come from many things other than results! (Work in progress, need to keep reminding myself ?)
