This film feels like a badass closure and also a beginning of something new. The last piece of The Lady Wood Era. I just need to write a few loving words to director @Malia_James who is a total superwoman. Malia I wanna thank you for all the deep into the night writing sessions at your house, all the inspiration films you had me watch, all the sharing of experiences and laughs over stupid shit that eventually molded into the script for Blue Lips. I’m sorry about the chocolate and my sometimes scattered and stressed out mind. I’m so thankful you saw how great this could be and stayed with me through all the uncertainty and ”IS THIS EVER GONNA HAPPEN” moments. I was nervous on the shoot, I was going through something that gave me a lot of self doubt, and it was a great feeling to just remind myself that I was completely safe in your magic hands.
