coming down off the high of #nycc2018 - i am SO GRATEFUL to the extraordinary team who pulled it off with me!! first up- my #christmasonhoneysucklelane family. when my car that was supposed to have whisked me off from #wethersfield to #nyc mysteriously had vanished at 330 am when we wrapped the movie- these incredible angels stuck around at the end of a 14 1/2 hour day to help make sure i made it. truly incredible. i love you guys, so much.
next- i arrived thanks to another angel of a ride share driver who agreed to take me to manhattan despite being a new immigrant to this country and never having driven in new york. without him doing this, i couldn’t have made it in time. thank you sir, wherever and whoever you are.
then! i arrived at my hotel at 6 am to meet the hair genius @serafinosays - she decided to come over early before her full day of #nycc appointments and squeeze my fresh new cut in. i have no words for the gratitude! i looooove this cut.
next came the glam team. @cat_pope22 arrived with outfits and (#vegan) shoes galore, and pulled together this look that i loved and felt comfortable in all day and all night.
@alexbyrnebeauty made my face look alive and radiant after zero sleep and what would be a 37 hour work day by the time it was all done. a miracle by any measure! she stayed all day and kept me looking fresh thru press, round tables, photos, panel and signings. can’t say what a gift that was. i was too tired to think about what i looked like, or anything but just being coherent for press and meeting people, so this was a godsend.
and @jennieredd who styled my fabulous new cut and made it EXACTLY the way i imagined it for this day. just a dream team in every way.
thank you so, so much to #seancrouch and #galeannehurd - i’m honored to be in @loreamazon and cannot wait for it to be out oct 19 on @amazonprimevideo!! thank you amazon for the support and for bringing us to comic con this weekend.
