When I was younger I used to plan vacations down to the minute, months before it was even time to leave. I had every day planned out, every restaurant chosen, every store I wanted to visit marked out on a map that I created on my computer ?? I researched the city to the point where I knew exactly which way to turn by the time I was walking on those very streets - whether it was New York, Rome or Paris we were visiting ? And I LOVED doing it ? Today I’m lucky if I even have a hotel room booked when I get to the airport to leave for a trip. Every (personal - non work related) trip I’ve taken during the last year has been decided super last minute, not organised one single bit and done with a “we’ll-see-where-this-takes-us”-kind-of-attitude ? ...And I absolutely love it! This couldn’t be any more different from how I used to be when I was younger but I’m embracing these complete polar opposites of myself when it comes to travelling ?✈️
