It’s my birthday week! ? And to celebrate last night I came out of my maternity leave mommy cave and co-hosted an event to support Katie Hill. Of course I had to bring in this new year productively! But let's be honest...November is coming... and it is the chance to flip more districts blue so we have some real checks and balances within the government. If you are like me I'd like to keep my trashy reality TV not on the news AND have more candidates responsible to their constituents not corporations or PAC money.
If you are unaware of Katie Hill she is running in Santa Clarita which is the 25th Congressional District. This race will be close.
Please consider supporting Katie Hill. I've had numerous conversations with Katie. Not only is she extremely impressive as a person and as a business woman but she is transparent, cares deeply about her district and her country. She has a father who is a police officer, mother who is a nurse, supports the LGBTQ community, women’s rights, and is all about bringing lasting change by bringing both sides together to actually communicate and negotiate. She is not owned by any big corporations, is a gun owner who is for common sense gun laws and I think you will find her to be exactly the kind of politician we need helping to run our country. Integrity, transparency, honesty, values. She is leading by example.
