Hi! My exhibition, #SilverLakeDrive, on view at @thephotographersgallery is showcasing my films and photographs spanning a decade of my life. It’s closing on October 14th so they asked me to take over their instagram account and give a view to my work from the inside. Follow them to see the posts first. Here I am at the beginning of my career as a photographer. I’m holding my trusty Contax 645, the camera I still prefer to shoot with. This picture was taken before I knew the demands I would eventually put on my own body and crew, thus the pair of nice oxfords on my feet. Now I don’t go to set dressed so casually. No matter the location or what we’re shooting I make sure to wear heavy duty non-slip shoes and protect my skin - prepared for anything. Follow @thephotographersgallery
