Authorities in South Carolina say one police officer was killed and six other law enforcement officers were wounded in a shooting Wednesday afternoon in a residential neighborhood of Florence. The suspect was taken into custody. The officer who died has been identified as Officer Terrence Carraway, a 30-year veteran of the Florence Police Department.
