Como defensora de la igualdad de género, creo que si hay más mujeres en la política, en las empresas, en el cine y la tv , en la ciencia, etc. El mundo puede ser mejor. No se trata de género, se trata de justicia y dignidad. No quiero que las mujeres estemos por encima de los hombres,soy pro-igualdad. Todos deberíamos tener las mismas oportunidades. Para lograrlo, tenemos que trabajar juntos. Para mí, en mi medio no existe la competencia entre mujeres sino el trabajo en equipo. Representar mujeres poderosas y enviar el mensaje de que las mujeres somos capaces de hacer lo que queramos en la vida a las niñas y mujeres se ha convertido en un reto, porque sé lo que es no hacerlo y cuánto daño puede causar. Como actriz, lo que puedo hacer es muy limitado a menos que haya alguien escribiendo o dirigiendo que lo entienda. Como mujer independiente, me siento honrada de alzar la voz. Hagámoslo todos. As an advocate for gender equality I believe that having more women in politics, in businesses , in film and television industry , in science etc etc . Can make a positive impact in the world.
It’s not about gender it’s about justice and restoring dignity. I don’t want things to shift to women on top & men beneath them, either.  i’m pro-equality. We all should have same opportunities.
To achieve it we have to work together. For me, in my field there’s no such thing as competition between us women but team work. I’m really interested in making this less hard for the next generation. Portraying women as powerful as we are and sending the message of women being capable of doing whatever they want in life to little girls has become an advocacy for me , because I know how it is like not to do it and how much damage it can cause. As an actress what I can do is very limited unless there’s someone writing or directing ( we need female directors) who understands it. But as a woman I’m honored to raise my voice. Let’s all do it. Equal is kind . Women all over : let’s start the conversation.
