I received a lot of hate yesterday. It made me sad. Sad that it seems we are unable to have a respectful discussion about a difference of opinion. Sad that some feel it’s ok to bully others. That when we disagree it’s better to be destructive rather than constructive. It made me think about how I want to act on a daily basis and what I would like to teach my children someday. I always want to come from a place of love and kindness. So today, I’m sending everyone love. To those who have suffered at the hands of others. To those who don’t have the courage or the ability to use their voice. I’m sending love to those who feel unloved or don’t have love for themselves. To the people who disagree with me. To the people who said hurtful things. To all people from every walk of life. Regardless of where we all stand on the current state of affairs, I’m grateful to have a platform to encourage dialogue. Instead of using words to harm, I hope you’ll consider using your arms to hug instead. ❤️
